The story of Califia Farms began in 2010 when Greg Steltenpohl set out to produce delicious, nutritious products that are better for people and the planet. We started with juices, then quickly expanded into plant-based milk, creamers, coffees, and culinary items. Califia is named after our California home, and we’re best known for our distinct curvy bottle, which sets us apart in the dairy aisle. Since the beginning, Califia Farms has been focused on making the transition to plant-based eating easy by bringing the power of plants to make food even more delicious.

This immersive, engaging, and interactive course is designed to bolster the safety awareness and knowledge of our dedicated workforce.

The content is delivered in a structured and easy-to-understand format, ensuring participants receive the necessary knowledge and the competence to apply it effectively in their daily roles.

Project Goals:

This course contains rich, detailed, and practical information on several critical safety procedures including:

Identification Safety: Participants will learn to recognize potential hazards in their environment, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO): The course provides a deep dive into the LOTO procedure, enabling participants to effectively isolate and prevent the accidental startup of machinery during servicing or maintenance.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS): Employees will be guided on the proper interpretation and understanding of SDS, a crucial element for handling chemical products safely.
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The course covers the usage, maintenance, and importance of various types of PPE, reinforcing the role of personal safety equipment in preventing accidents.
Medical Emergencies: Participants will be introduced to basic emergency protocols, first-aid measures, and the right course of action during a medical emergency at the workplace.
